Linda Kangos, CPNP
Mrs. Linda Kangos joined Kangos Pediatrics in 1995 as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. The Austin pediatric practice grew substantially in large part to her caring, communicative style and prior independent practice experience. Her experience includes multiple leadership positions as well as supporting numerous preventative health care programs. She originally came to Austin in 1991 to teach at the University of Texas Pediatric Nurse Practitioner master’s program. Linda’s areas of interest include infant and child development and nutrition.
Linda received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and her Master of Science degree in nursing and pediatric nurse practitioner training from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
She served as a clinical instructor of graduate programs for nursing students at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Linda is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners.
Linda enjoys raising the Kangos’ high school-age son. Her hobbies include walking, hiking and developing health-conscious recipes for the family.
Kathryn Aldridge, CPNP
I recently joined Kangos Pediatrics as a pediatric nurse practitioner after graduating from the pediatric nurse practitioner program at The University of Texas at Austin. I have been a nurse since 2009, after completing a master’s in nursing at Western University in Los Angeles, CA. I started my career in the pediatric intensive care unit and then became the pediatric kidney and liver transplant coordinator at Texas Children's and Memorial Hermann in Houston. My husband and I moved to Austin in 2015 to be closer to family.
My husband and I, along with our 3 young daughters, enjoy exploring all that Austin has to offer. You can find us hiking at local parks, riding bikes around the neighborhood or playing with our 3 dogs and 2 cats at home.
I am excited to join Kangos Pediatrics' two very experienced practitioners who value staying up to date with current best practices in pediatrics and who provide excellent preventative care to keep kids healthy and thriving.
Although originally from Wisconsin, I would rather sweat out the hot summers in Texas than freeze in the cold winters of the Midwest!
Margot Yeager, CPNP
Margot graduated with a Master's in Nursing from the University of Texas in 2017. She is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has worked as a nurse practitioner at Dell Children's Emergency Department. She is happy to join Kangos Pediatrics where she can build long term patient-family relationships to provide comprehensive primary and acute care to infants, children and adolescents across their development. Her clinical interests include newborn care, breastfeeding support, overweight/obesity treatment, asthma, ADHD, and adolescent health.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Margot has 10 years of experience as a bedside nurse at Strictly Pediatrics Surgery Center in Austin and Stanford Children's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Palo Alto, California. She received her nursing degree from Loyola University of Chicago and has a bachelor's in psychology from University of Notre Dame.
While originally from Chicago and landed in Texas by way of California, she feels at home in Austin with her (native Texan) husband, where they raise their three children and are always in the lookout for new family friendly adventures.
